Both experienced and qualified caterers, Justin Pike & Amanda Litterio have been involved in family catering establishments for most of their lives; Amanda’s Italian family owned ‘The Continental Touch’, then ‘Il Trio’ restaurant in Dorset. Justin became head chef at ‘Langleys’ bistro in Southampton under owners Peter & Mary Tucker. Later, at the age of 24, they both opened ‘Primizia’ restaurant in Wimborne, Dorset which they ran for 10 years until 2006 when they both moved to Bergamo, Lombardy, in Italy to start a family.

True acceptance in Italian communities means cooking for the local people, so it’s been a great compliment to Justin’s skills that he has been invited to take part in the food preparation and cooking for the past four years in various local ‘sagre’ in the Valle Brembana area of Lombardy, where up to 1000 people are catered for during various celebrations.
An Englishman cooking Italian food for the locals is very rare and is the ultimate recommendation of Justin's cooking skills!
Returning to the UK during the summer months, Justin & Amanda aim to pass on their Italian enthusiasm for food to kids & young adults in the Dorset & Hampshire area through cooking workshops.

Their catering experience in the UK and the past fourteen years living and working in Italy enable them to offer an authentic 'hands-on' approach to cooking. In our cooking workshops, kids & teens prepare & eat a selection of great Italian food as well as learning some basic kitchen skills in a relaxed & fun atmosphere.
