FOOD + FUN + LEARNING
From simple number work (using the scales), to colour & size recognition (which piece is the biggest?), to basic science stuff for slightly older kids (explaining chemical reactions that happen, why does bread rise?), there's so much children can learn in the kitchen. Our cooking workshops aim to pass on our enthusiasm for Italian food whilst giving children plenty of food for thought as regards taste, smell & presentation. You'll be surprised just what your kids can prepare given the right opportunity.

Kids cooking workshops
Available in two age groups:
4 - 6 years
7 - 10 years
The children will make a starter, main course & dessert in each workshop as well as doing other activities such as learning some basic Italian. We’ll also look at how and why hands should be super clean when cooking using the fun glitterbug kit.

We ask for one adult to be present for each child aged 4 - 6, not necessarily to help cook (although should your child wish for you to stay next to them it’s not a problem) but just as a reassurance for little ones. In each of our venues there'll be areas where parents can sit & relax (tea & coffee available) whilst being within reach should you be needed. Of course, we shall set a place for you to join us for our group meal at the end.
For the older group (7 - 10), an adult present during the cooking phase is not necessary (although you will be most welcome to stay if you choose to) although we would love for you to join us when we sit down to eat at the end of the lesson so that you can enjoy what your child has prepared.
